Given Black’s journey began in 2011 within a band, where he cultivated his early sonic skills. By 2014, he embarked on a solo path, driven by an ambition to delve deeper into his artistic voice. This transition allowed him to develop a wide array of talents, shaping his dual identity as both a musician and a filmmaker.
In 2017, his enrollment at Tshwane University of Technology heralded a new chapter, where he formally studied Film and TV Production. This academic pursuit fueled his understanding of storytelling, enabling him to refine his audio-visual craft. He soon launched Mabari Records and Fiohn Films, platforms that embody his commitment to innovative, concept-driven content.
